Guess who finally grew up and decided to get a big girl job? yes, you have guessed correctly, me! I landed a perfect job at the cutest little vintage ice cream shop called Rock'n Robyn (the owner's name really in Robyn). I am so excited! Not having to stress over when the next babysitting job would come around, so i could make sure i have gas for my car is unimaginable. I started training this past Thursday and so far everything has gone pretty smooth. The girls there are super nice and our manager is the most easy-going person ever. Luckily i am pretty skilled at scooping ice cream, but i have to say I am a little challenged when it comes to the register. So many different buttons for so many different types of orders, and not to mention figuring out discounts and coupons gets to be a real pain. Hopefully i will get the hang of things though, because apparently the first few months we are on probation.. so if i screw up big time i could get booted. I'm just glad that their main focus is on being really outgoing and friendly towards the customers and i think i can handle that, but who knows, i guess we'll see how this turns out. That place is so cute!! I'm exited you got the job! You will most definitely have favorite aunt status if you've got ice cream to give out. We'll love coming to visit!
