It finally happened today!!!! the day i got my braces off!!!! I have had them on for exactly 19 months!! At first it felt really gross and slimy but then once they got it cleaned off it felt much better! In fact i didn't even go look at them until after they cleaned them because i didn't even want to see what they looked like with all the glue and crap! It sort of hurt when they were scrapping the glue off but at the same time i didn't even notice because i was just so excited to have them off! The worst pat was getting the impressions, thats when they stick a whole bunch of goop in your mouth to make a molding of it and i gaged so many times it was embarrassing!Then they had to put this small permeant retainer on the back of my teeth which sort of irritates my tongue but its WAY better then braces! Just hopefully i will never have to get braces again!

You look so so so grown up. Jeremy couldn't believe how different you look. You teeth are so pretty and white!!! I am right there with ya when it comes to the impressions. I gag worst then anybody I know and believe me its a million times more embarrassing when you are my age!!!
